Journeyman Training
Every new employee at Koop Sheet Metal undergoes a journeyman training period, assisting with various tasks and responsibilities outside of their job description. This training ensures that each employee is well-rounded, capable, and has a good understanding of our business and how it operates. Additionally, this training is essential for proper communication and coordination between the different teams at Koop Sheet Metal.

Delivery Truck Driver
We are looking for a responsible and committed person to join our Delivery Department in the role of Truck Driver for the purpose of delivering orders to customers, countrywide.
Position Requirements
Here at Koop Sheet Metal, we always have space for good drivers. However, a Koop Sheet Metal truck driver is not just a truck driver. He is a loader, he is an unloader, he is customer service, he is a navigator, he has good customer dealing skills, he has a good attitude, he is a floor sweeper at the shop when not on delivery, he does his checkups on the truck before he goes on delivery, he has to be able to answer questions about our products when asked by a customer. All things considered, a lot of training goes into a Koop Sheet Metal truck driver. We don’t have truck drivers who come to Koop Sheet Metal to drive truck. We have drivers who want to serve people. We have drivers who know our products. To get that, it takes about a year before a driver gets on a truck to do regular deliveries. We have found that if we put a very new employee on the truck, quality customer service suffers, so we train our drivers extensively.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving & offloading of delivery trucks.
- Abide by all delivery protocols established by the company for safety and poper operations.
- Checking of all loads and verification of paperwork for each delivery to verify accuracy & proper maintaining of delivery records.
- Perform preventative inspection & maintenance before, during and after delivery trips.
- Abide by all rules and regulations established by management in sequence with code of conduct, professionalism and good work ethics.
- Report direct to the delivery manager any discrepancies, incidents or accidents for immediate directive.
- Comply with flexible working hours and shift schedules as required.
- Assist with daily operations when not driving.
- Promote a safe & respectful working environment among staff.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Must possess a valid Class A, B1 & B2 driver’s license
- At least 3 years’ experience driving six wheel & gooseneck truck
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
- Mature & punctual
- Good communication skills
- Bi-lingual (An Asset)
- Team player

Assistant Mechanic
We are looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented and responsible person to join our Delivery Department in the role of Assistant Mechanic for the purpose conducting repairs & maintenance of delivery trucks and company vehicles.
Position Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting with day to day mechanic repair & maintenance of fleet trucks, company vehicles and equipments, travelling out-district to repair vehicle and equipments when necessary.
- Assists with daily operations when available.
- Abide by all rules and regulations established by management in sequence with code of conduct, professionalism and good work ethics.
- Collaborate with coworkers to get repairs done in a timely manner.
- Comply with flexible working hours as required.
- Promote a safe & respectful working environment among staff.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Good repair knowledge of diesel engine & small engine repair, brake systems and vehicle diagnostics
- Automotive electricity (An Asset)
- Trustworthy
- Mature, responsible, organized

Sales Representative
We are looking for a highly motivated and responsible person to join our Sales Department in the role of Sales Representative for the purpose of assisting customers with estimates and orders, as well as providing customer service support.
Position Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for carrying out of assigned sales activities.
- Respond to sales inquires and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.
- Abide by all rules and regulations established by management in sequence with code of conduct, professionalism and good work ethics.
- Report directly to the Sales Manager any discrepancies or incidents for immediate directive.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Sales Manager.
